Iolite is traditionally known as a crystal of vision, intuition and spiritual awareness, and it is believed to enhance inner guidance, mental clarity and self-discovery. It is well suited to meditation and personal growth practices.

The Iolite Palm Stone is a unique choice for crystal lovers who want something beyond the most common stones. Turning it slowly in your hand to watch its colour shift can become a mindful, focusing exercise. It is a thoughtful gift for writers, planners and anyone looking for direction or clarity.

About Iolite

Iolite is the gem variety of the mineral cordierite. It is known for strong pleochroism, which means it shows different colours, typically violet-blue and pale grey or yellowish, when viewed from different angles. Iolite has a hardness of about 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale. Legend says Viking navigators may have used iolite to help locate the sun on cloudy days.
