How to Use Your White Sage Smudge Sticks

Hold the smudge stick at an angle and light the tip until it catches, then gently blow out the flame so that the leaves smoulder and produce smoke. Hold a heat-resistant dish or shell underneath to catch falling embers. Walk slowly around your space, letting the smoke drift into corners and doorways, or pass crystals and jewellery through the smoke while setting an intention. Open a window to let the smoke out. When finished, press the tip firmly into sand or a heat-resistant dish until it is fully extinguished.
